Need advice- Am I getting scammed?
I was contacted last night via email- I am posting the entire dialogue here with the persons' contact details edited out. Somehow this doesn't seem kosher to me, I have never had anyone offer to pay me up front BY CHECK. Any advice????:confused:

Thanks for your message.I really do appreciate it.
As for the web pages,Just 10-12pages would do.I already have a Logo and design,I would also need a contact us form.And the estimated delivery date is two weeks from when you start the Job.
As for the Payment,I will pay you $1200 as have said earlier on,I guess that's a goo deal.because I want you to do a good job and take your time to do it and I want to make sure we deal directly to make it work fast. Please let me have your name and address to send you a check for the payment today by UPS overnight delivery after you have the payment, you can then start with the Website.
