A Good MIC To Use For Recording in Camtasia?

Hi

Could someone please recommend a good mic to use for recording in Camtasia?

I have a fairly good headset with headphones and a mic which I have used in the past, but I find that I can't really hear myself talk and I find this to be quite off-putting.

I use a Sure microphone with a Yamaha Audiogram 5 mixer. It is good quality but if buying from Ebay watch out for fakes. Do a search for fake Sure microphones and see what you need to watch out for. I don't get on with the clip-on microphones at all.

I just use a cheap Logitech headset (around $30). Works fine. Did you try turning up your mic level in your volume controls? Mine was set pretty low by default. Adjusting it was all I needed to do to have decent audio.
