This is really sad news for me...Other than Jeff Beck, I bet I've spent more time listening to Johnny Winter than any other musician/band.

This song is by Rick Derringer, but he wrote it for Johnny, and Johnny is singing and playing lead.

BTW, I always felt JW should have played the part of the Devil's guitar player instead of Stevie Vai in the movie "Crossroads".

  Too bad. I saw him play last year in Napa. He was extremely frail but he still could play. I missed him in April at Yoshi's in Oakland! :/ Here's a short video of him from that show:

He was one of my favorite guitar slingers. RIP Johnny, and thanks for all the great music. This one really saddens me.
