Be different for the right reason
He has studied and bought into the principles of it being able
to be a cause of profit and not an expense.
He looks within his industry and finds nothing he would like to imitate.
He looks outside his industry and location and still can't find examples
worth using.
He studies his industry gurus on what to do.
Still not quite right for his situation.
So what does this person want?
Unfortunately he doesn't know,
only knows what he doesn't want.
Your message has to resonate with this person.
He will know when he sees it.
And the way you do it is talk about things that have never been done before.
About why he hasn't been able to get that elusive thing he has been searching for.
Lead him to discovery without being
made to feel bad or wrong.
Give him space to come to his own
conclusions.
What you have now is a person who
has a deep gratitude to you for shown him the light and put an end
to his search.
The problem with this approach is that you will be the only one doing it,
therefore it can take you out of your comfort zone.
And in all honesty, most people are followers rather than natural leaders,
which also means they won't take this approach since they
would rather follow what others are doing.
To be the only choice, where buyers come to you grateful,
then your message has to be like no other.
It's like a beacon on the rocks at sea
saving the ship masters from danger.
Best,
Captain E. Vile
