Quick Question about Ranking Vidoes for Local business

I have been out of the game for about 18 months doing other projects. about 18 months ago I started ranking videos on the first page of google for local businesses.

I was looking at starting that model back up but as a search several of the decent size cites I do not see a single video on teh first page of google. Did google stop showing video for local business and focus more on google local or what ever it is called now or is this still a valid model to build

I know I can rank a local biz on YouTube but sorry no one looks for a local business on YouTube ... a few might but that is a very hard sell to any business owner

any insight on this I would be grateful...Thanks!

    You can still rank local biz videos on page one of Google, just takes a bit more work with back links etc.

          That's great advice, there is a ton of benefit to having a well thought out Google Business Page. If nothing else, offering a Google Business Page "free audit" may be a good opener for your local businesses Mike.
