Sales stars on youtube.

I've been watching some grant cordone type stuff on YouTube. I want to hone my techniques some what. Results come up with any number of random videos. Can anybody list some of the really well known ones that are masters that would be of value to spend some time with. Thanks!

Most general sales training is worthless. I suggest you tell us the specific business you are in, and that could steer us (or you) to find the trainers that apply to what you sell.
For example, do you prospect by calling out or online? Do you use direct mail? Do prospects call you? are you selling to business or to consumers?

Is this a relationship sale or more transnational? Are you looking for pure motivation or real techniques that work in the real world?

      Claude is absolutely right here.

You will learn nothing that will make you money by studying 'generic sales training' in fact you'd be lucky to even understand how you could apply any of this type of training.

There are quite a few people on here who could help but, as Claude suggests, you'll need to supply a bit more info.

If you just want to study 'sales' as a subject you'd be better off finding some groups or blogs who can give you information, the problem with youtube, especially with people like Cardone is, they mostly will just show off and make you feel inadequate.

I would challenge any of them to go head to head with real cold calls and see how they perform he he he

Yes I agree it could have a higher return on investment with targeted training. I've been kind of venturing between different products and services. I'll have to do some more research. Ever heard of good results telemarketing a startup. Like a media/entertainment startup. Or selling a book?

There are people all over the world selling all manner of things...including start up's, books, gas, computers, phone systems, advertising, cars, office equipment....business ideas.....concepts...you name it.

Do you have a specific question on the subject?

Or are you still looking for answers on Youtube?

Well I've read tons of college level material on marketing business and sales. I still really like the grant cordone style stuff that I was recommended to on the forum. But I've done 14 plus sales applications that are good too. See I really haven't picked my new product yet so I can't say. But I was just seeing if anybody had any favorites on YouTube that got skills to pay the bills. Just another way to build up the experience. I was thinking of making some podcasts myself. I'm a language/speaking super genius so could probably come up with some provocative stuff . THX!

Watching Youtube videos isn't experience. Actually selling something ...anything...is experience.

The vast majority of Sales Trainers on Youtube are just using Youtube as a lead magnet to increase their mailing list.

Cardone is a great motivator, and I suppose it's possible to eventually learn something from his videos...but it isn't sales training. His videos (like almost all others) sell sales training...they aren't sales training themselves.
