Do the following still work

Hello,

I used to be huge into S.E.O. until i realized I was chasing Google around. I gave up on that years ago.

I do ppc with Bing and Google...not high volume as i only want H.N.W./accredited investors looking for investments. Very small niche.

I remember years ago things like article marketing, press releases, blog posting, ad's in e-zines were all the rage.

Do these methods still work?

I might stick to ppc and offline. Keep it simple

    It won't really hurt trying these things, especially press releases. Just plan it all out first.

    The only difference between a few years ago and now,
    is that there is just more of everything.

    The amount of information being placed online has grown
    exponentially over the last few years.

    So although everything mentioned 'works'....their effect is somewhat watered down these days.

    Even targetted adwords work less well these days due to the never number of options available.

    The only one of those things that no longer work well is posting on article sites. Google has demoted these sites, so articles in them almost never show up in a Google search.

    But articles on blogs? websites? Sure.

    When you have the full name, address, email, phone number
    and Facebook id of accredited investors who...

    Have recently applied for a loan
    know what is their investment of choice
    know whether they use a full-service broker
    Use a discount broker
    Use an online trading platform
    Know the value of existing investments
    Know if they have liquid assets and their value
    Know their credit score

    Then the media makes little difference.

    Because you have got the most important information,
    identified who the ideal client is with hugely important attributes.

    That's the level of detail I give my clients.

    Creating and connecting through blogging, social media, forums and through guest posting, and blog commenting, work fine in today's climate. But most of what you noted - especially article marketing - in on the outs. Stick to helping people, befriending pros in your niche and providing valuable free content to a targeted person through a few online channels noted. You'll do A-OK.

    i think off line face to face networking works best for me. I'll stick to some P.P.C. for lead generation.

    Just write blog posts and share it with social media. I seen a great uptick for the last year doing so.

    You don't have to be insane with writing blog articles few times a week.

    The real deal is the promotion on social media and just keep on doing that all the time new and old articles.

    This will obtain links from many resources that wants to link out to you and use your articles as a resource.

    It's been working great so far in the last year.

    I was in the same boat I gave up on SEO I took a break for a little to regroup and found my simple way worked after listening to countless advice and tired but those methods was really to difficult and not working.

    Use the two ways blog writing and social promotion and after sometime rankings will improve.

      Bing and Google. Bing is cheaper but not as much nor as high quality. Just straight to my home page.
