  • It all depends on your budget. Cold call overall cost per lead converted will be higher.

We would need to know way more before any opinion would matter.

What experience do you have cold calling?
What other ways do you know how to prospect?
What sales experience do you have?
Do you have a tested and proven cold calling script already written?
Is it going to bother you to hear 150 "No"s for every "Yes"?

Were you planning on doing it yourself, or hiring it out?

This was up in the IM forum and I recommended it be asked down here... so the mods moved it.

OP, Claude has some very affordable resources. I've also been contributing for 10 years on the subject here as have several other experienced people. The search feature should help you.

Probably like calling a girl/guy you never met and asking them to marry you.

They have no doubt heard of marriage but you weren't on their radar which generates a lot of thoughts as to who you are and why they should marry you and are you a nut or someone they should stay away from.

Also, they may already be married and unless they're ready for an affair, they'll laugh at you and probably hang up.

Would be good if you got on their radar first...then flirt around, maybe give them a gift like a new car or something and then ask for the commitment.

You could also have a friend introduce you to them...or at least hang out with a friend that hangs out with them...

get them interested in you. Start some small talk.

You could also start by sending a little note and telling them "hey". Maybe even tell them you'd like to get to know them better...all before asking them to marry you.

Also, you might ask them to marry you and then find out they're not your type. You wouldn't know all that unless you took some steps to build up to the marriage.

So anyway, yes, you could spend days calling and trying to find a mate...and you might get lucky...but then again ask yourself if you really got lucky or will it turn out to be a marriage from hell.

My point, and I do have one...

unless you're running a boiler room with loads of callers that are just pounding the phones all day, I wouldn't suggest cold calling. The way I described above gets far better results.

Some imagination will let you figure out how to take the above nonsense and use it on businesses that you want to pitch.

So being the odd ball of the bunch... I would get my hands on a states voter role, and goto town. For THIS specific offer I would be targeting the known GOP members of the list, and strike hard at protecting privacy etc etc

In todays environment this would be without question doable = and the targeting list is pretty cheap to buy.

    Best of luck man!

In business there are 2 main things to take into consideration...

    1 What you say
    2The economics

So if you had the best phone salesperson
    the venture could still fail
    because there is not
    enough profit..

Since vpn services are a very low ticket service,
it will be very hard to squeeze
a profit out of your venture.

    Best,
    Ewen

How are you going to make money? My antivirus protection provider offers it at 11.95/month.

Even if yours offers it at twice the rate and you get half, you do not make a lot.

Seems like something you would offer as a downsale or upsale, or to get them into your system.

Equivalent to a No Bs book by Dan Kennedy.

Just wondering. Because, though you used the word strategy, you did not mention a strategy.
