Yellow Pages Advertising Rates

Curious to know if anybody has a recent rate card for local yellow pages advertising?

Not looking for general guesses, but current rates. I know that larger markets will have different rates.

    I would be curious on this one as well. It amazes me how expensive Yellow Pages can be. I understand it for some businesses, but for some it is a complete waste of money.

    Yeah, what's amazing is that people pay for these ads and don't use a direct response to find out the results of the ad they run.

    Who knows if its working for them!!! Ah! Let's help some business owners out here. We can offer them tangible reporting.

    It seems outrageaous. Even in small communities a small ad in the yellow pages can set you back 250-300 a month!!! Think about that folks.

    One of my contacts said they are bailing next month to go online because they are seeing better results.

    Don't forget the yellow page people though are getting people to drink the red coolaid with a yellow page site online it is often a domain name or a yellow page hosted site so it looks like the offline people who are marketing correctly can do much better. I wonder what that costs? Anyone have pricing on the yellow page fuax online ads?

    Wow thats amazing on what people pay seeing as I hardly ever read the yellow pages. If your looking to create and profit on an online website I wouldn't advise on yellow pages unless you have a lot of money to spend.
