Local SEO learning Guide

I am very keen to learn Local SEO, I was doing research all over the internet for a while, I found so many blogs that talk about Local SEO, but I need something more concrete and step by step guide, because after reading many blog post I have feeling that I am so many blanks to fill

can anyone enlighten me with very good guide or tutorials, I am ok to pay right price

    I recommend: It's important to know how much competition you have in your market and knowing what your keywords your competitors are optimizing for will give you a good idea of what keywords to focus on for your own local search optimization efforts.

    Search the main type of product or service you offer + the city or town your business serves in each of the major search engines.

    It's best to read a good book on SEO first. I recommend "The Art of SEO" by O'REILLY books. There is plenty of information on this forum as well. Google Adwords keyword tool is a great place to start if you are looking for keywords and numbers, ect...

    If you want to learn about keyword research go over to market samurai and get their free trial. There are loads of great videos in there that will give you a good grounding in what's required.
