Moo for highly-targeted direct mail postcards?

Hey Warriors,

I'm thinking about experimenting with direct mail marketing to get more local clients for my small web design and SEO business. I'm wondering if anybody has used Moo to print laser-targeted mail pieces for each recipient? E.g. "Hey [business owner name], Did you know [insert number] people searched for [city name + niche term] last month on google?"

I've looked at some sites that do short run postcard printing thinking I could do a short run for each niche that I'm targeting, but even the "short run" is too many for most niches in my city.

Any thoughts on ROI compared to more mass-produced methods? Obviously the print cost with Moo is going to be several times higher.

I'd appreciate any tips you can share about direct mail or other marketing methods. I'm not interested in cold calling (too intrusive and disrespectful of the business owners time.)

Thanks,
Jen

Good for you going on direct marketing methods, I can tell you that the more personalize is your letter the better, what you can do instead of targeting their type of business is targeting the entire town example:

"An Open Letter To Every Business Owner in {Name of the City} that Secretly Know His Marketing Sucks"

or if you can get more information of their business owners without having their industry you can try something different like:

"{Name of the owner} Finally Defeats His Competitors With These Easy To Follow Marketing Methods" and you send them to a squeeze page where you explain the benefits of your services.

    Best Regards
