Have a Great Client Questionaire?

would sure like to get my hands on some questionaires, as I seem to talk too much in an initial interview.....need to stop talking and ask questions and listen, lead the client and let him conclude what his needs are and that I can help him

    Well, before you can get a questionnaire put together, what services do you offer, and of those services, which do you use to get new clients with first? Do you try and sell Facebook Fan-pages first? Do you try and sell them a Website? What services do you offer?

    I had the same issues, and it forced me to really take a good luck at what I was doing, and how I could break it down into bite size pieces, not only for the prospective new client, but for myself.

    We sometimes try to be the "one-stop-shop" for all things related with Offline Marketing, but sometimes it's better to specialize in one area first, then slowly move the customer through your sales funnel, with up-sells to different services.

    I usually try to go wide and get him thinking holistically in regards to his marketing.
    Talk about his industry, current trends, the competition, etc.
    Then I do a SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity Threats) analysis.

    From there we discuss his target market and the behaviours of his target market and where they are looking for stuff - what is the right digital media.

    Then we go into his key message and market positioning.

    Finally we cover the 4 P's of marketing (Price, Place, Product and Promotion).

    From there I have a better understanding of his true needs and I can guide him in strategies that will be the most effective for him.
