Straight forward opinions if you would build a lead generation website for a local market OR try and gain real estate agents as clients to build their websites?

I prefer to find a client, build his website, and then offer various marketing packages such as SEO, email marketing, etc., and then charge a flat monthly fee.

However, my clients are all from different businesses. If I was going to focus on only one group of people, like local real estate agents, I would sell leads instead.

I feel this way because if I have a real estate client and I say I'm going to help him get more business, but I'm also doing the same thing for another real estate agent, they're going to wonder who I'm really helping.

Of course, if all of the real estate agents were serving totally different areas, that would be different. However, if you're generating leads, I'm sure you're focusing on a handful of locations.

It depends on how many leads you can generate and how much you can consistently sell them for.

For example, will you make more money from one real estate agent giving you $275/month every month or from selling leads at $10 a piece?

I chose $275 as that is fee I often get from offline clients.

Also, do you want to have to sell leads, or just sit back as the money comes in every month?
