A local coupon website?

I'm considering putting together (I should say almost finished) a coupon website. The site will have affiliate coupons and affiliate offers/deals/products in different niches. I plan to do some testing next weekend with flyers and maybe yard signs in high traffic areas. Do you guys recommend any other methods and does this sound like a good idea. Thanks again for all the help!!!!

It's a fine idea, especially if you do it well. There's more than one here and they advertise on the radio a lot so they must be driving business.

I would create a facebook app for the coupons. Or create a facebook fanpage and start creating a buzz. This is more effective then hitting the pavement, flyers, etc.

Everyone is online... and on facebook. Create a buzz with these coupons. Get it to go viral.

      Good luck!

    I think it's a great idea!

I'm in the process of doing something similar, but with mobile text coupons. I'll add printable ones too (mostly being affiliate links).
I'm combining it with a Facebook page as well.

Any particular look/theme you were going to use? I currently have a WP site, using a gallery theme, but am looking seriously into converting it to a CouponPress theme.

    Good luck!
