Texting Cash

I'd like to share a "Money-Making" discovery. I'm NOT "selling" anything here...just relaying a way I've found to make some BIG and QUICK.... CASH!

Ok....I've been working on a program that brings more business to Pizzerias by "enticing" tourists who check into motels to....order pizzas delivered to their room by....the pizzeria that's paying ME to reach these "Hungry" tourists...who check into motels with NO food.

So...the other day...I found myself waiting for the GM, in the lobby of a motel.

As I was sitting there...I happened to notice people checking in. I saw that ALL of them....had some kind of Mobile Device. In fact, one guy had to get some info from his wifee, waiting in their car, outside the door....to complete his "Check-In Form".

And...instead of taking 10 steps to go to his car and get the info....he pulled out his Phone....dialed her in their car and asked her to give him the info he needed.

Wowee! Talk about "laziness personified"! Actually though, we're in the "Electronic Age" where we have programmed ouselves to let our "Electronic Toys"....do the "work" for us!

So....I watched as people "Checked In" and signed the "Check-In Form".

That's when I got one of my "Hot Flashes"!

When there was a break in the sign-ins....I went up to the desk and asked the clerk what they did with the "Check-In" Forms. (She knew me from my previous advertising biz I did for the motel.... so she told me they "held them in storage for THREE YEARS! So...I asked if I could have a Copy of a Blank Check-In Form.)

So....the GM was now free to see me and....I went into her office and conducted the biz I had come there for AND....I asked her if she'd be interested in "Turning her Check-In Forms...INTO GOLD!"

She responded with; "What? and How?" So I brought out the copy of the Check-In Form I had just gotten and told her...."If she would add 1 line to their Check-In Form....their business could possibly DOUBLE in the next year!

I NOW had her "Interest"!

I explained that almost every one of her Guests have a Mobile Device of some type and....if she would include a line on the Check-In Form that asked for their "Cell #_______________________" I would send a Text Message to them that;

1) Thanked them for staying at their facility and the Mgmt hoped they enjoyed their stay...
and....
2) Should they decide to come back within the next 12 months...they could STAY FOR 2 NIGHTS AND PAY FOR 1!

Well.....the GM went "GaGa!" She said that sounded like a GREAT Idea and she'd like to try it...provided it ...."was Fairly priced"!

So....I named a Fee for the SetUp and a Per Text Fee and told her she could cancel at any time.......and she said, "Sold!"

So....by simply being Observant....on the Field-Of-Battle....I was once again...off and running on a "Good Money-Maker".....that would cost me almost nothing to implement and yet...could bring in thousands a month.

Because....THIS program can be done with almost EVERY Motel/Hotel in the country!

The more I thought about this...the more I thought...."Holy Schamoly!" these hotels/motels have been in biz for YEARS....with Highly Paid Marketing Staff....and yet....their "Greatest Marketing Tool" was going UNnoticed....their Check-In Forms....that COULD be used to.... "BRING EM BACK"!

Anyway.... I hope I stirred up some "Ideas" in your heads.
