Same promotion, online vs offline conversions?

Hi,

Bob Serling mentioned in his 6 week info product course that conversions are higher for the same promotion on his offline mailings.

For you guys who advertise through both channels: have you found this to be the case for your product?

Thanks

People don't get "spammed" as much in "real life" anymore compared to the war on their email inbox each morning. So, I'm sure that's a correct statement--just more costly.

Better know your numbers on a constant basis for sure.

I agree with what Dexx said.

But, another thing to consider is people are still scared of the internet.

They still think that every single thing that is occuring on here is in some way a scam.

People have asked me what I do for a living and when I respond "internet marketer" they look at me like I'm a criminal.

Since a large part of marketing is based on trust with your customer base, offline definitely holds the flame on that.

To answer your question there though.

Since you're asking this in the offline discussion section I assume you're talking about using these methods to land clients.

I'd definitley say that direct mailing campaigns have FAR FAR better conversions then online.
