Getting Past The Gatekeeper

I took this off of another forum, just copied and pasted. All credit goes to Goldie9. This allowed me to find a business owner's personal address. I don't think this strategy is illegal for direct mail, by sending to their home address but who knows?

I was thinking about implementing this with direct mail but wanted to see what others thought of first.

I have heard many times how people are having hard time getting pass the gatekeepers on the phone. If your doing direct mail method, ie 7878 and the google places method it might just get dumped in the trash can.

Now this method mostly works in USA, but i do know UK as well. Not familiar with other countries but i'm sure they have something similar.

Every company that forms a INC, LLC, or partnership will have to register with the state government. Now in the registration it will list the CEO, CFO, or any other officers. Many times I have noticed that the CEO's details will be at their home address! Sometimes it's best to go straight to the top. Especially if your using the 7878's method for Online Rep management. If the reviews are bad the CEO will probably make some heads roll. For example I found a pretty nasty review stating that the manager was a "racist". Needless to say it was "delt" with rather quickly.

So you can you do a google search for the "Secretary of State Corporations Registration" Name of state".

I did a Google search and found the South Dakota's government website.

South Dakota Secretary of State Jason Gant - Corporation Search

Find any business located in the Yellow Pages

You can easily find the CEO on listing number 2 and 4.. I would of pasted it but didn't want
to add personal info on this board.

At all times avoid the "Registered Agent" Most of times it's either a Lawyer or a third party registration service.
Unless it's a smaller company, the owners will register the business themselves.

Be sure only look for .gov or "state.us" domains. There is a lot of third party companies that register businesses.

here some more states

Now for UK you can search at Companies House

I noticed when I was looking through the information the first name I cam across sounded like a law firm. Plus it probably also helped that I already knew the name of the owner.

Instead of getting past the gatekeeper have you tried to see if you could work with them? It's a much better system. The guys I work with who do this have the best results with the gatekeeper because most business owners are too busy to see you.
