Question For South African Offliners!

Hi. My company is based in the UK but we have recently started getting enquiries from SA. The problem we have is pricing. Could you guys be so kind as to share what the average prices are in SA for;
SEO
Web design
Mobile design

Just trying to get a feel for the market.

    Well having lived there for amny years and having a S.A wife (and mother in law :-( ) I know thing or two.


    S.A. is not Europe or the USA. Work on about 1/2 in S.A. Their cost of living is about half that of the UK. So wages are about half that of the UK (if you can believe that...)

    I think the Rand is about 11 to £1. 1,000Rand is a decent chunk of money to most S.A.'s these days. When i was there in 1997 it was 4 rand for a beer....Fantastic times.........

    So as a rule of thumb try to lower your priced by 25% to 50%. Depends on the company though. Some big profitable companies out there (as everywhere) But for avergae SME work on half.

    If you do not mind me asking how did you mnage to get S.A. interests? What in SEO? Design?
