Emails ending in spam folder

Hello Warriors,

I have gone through various threads here and on other forums and websites talking about spam filters. I have created an email copy that I want to use for cold emailing, but after testing it always ends up in the spam folder.

I avoided all the problem things like capital letters, hype words, colors, pictures etc., but it didn't help and the email still gets considered as spam.

Does anybody have similar experience or can advice what I can be doing wrong?

I am new to offline marketing, so I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance

    hard to say unless we can see the subject line of your email and the content of your email

    Is it a business domain or @gmail.com etc?

    Subject line is likely to have very little to do with it. rDNS and IP reputation has more to do with it, which is something you probably aren't going to be able to control.

    For starters check to see if your email server is blacklisted.

    mxtoolbox dot com/SuperTool.aspx and use their blacklist checker.

    What are you using to send out the e-mails? I'm using mailchimp, and it works for me. Though we have business domains, and trying to write a correct content.

      Thank you all for your replies.. I was playing with the email text all the day and it finally was delivered into inbox of my test account. It's not a business domain, it's gmail. I have sent the first 60 emails to potencial leads but haven't got a single reply yet. Maybe it's just too early to judge the results, I will send some more and see what happens.

        Spend the $10 and get a REAL Domain & email for free at GD. Gmail is totally unprofessional.
