Example For Your Use: Direct Mail Letter For Getting Web Conversion Clients

This to the point letter cuts through the clutter.

It puts your value on the line in exchange for 5 minutes of your prospects time.

You'll be the only one who demonstrates you'll not be wasting another's time.

It puts the onus on you to be able to demonstrate
your value in the shortest amount of time.

If you believe you can't do it in 5 minutes, then go and get better.

Don't expect prospects to bend to your view of the world.

There's a line in the letter which says if the line is busy, please call back later.

It's a proven response lifter.

O'K, get an image of a $100 note off Google images and have
them copied and printed off then attach one to the top of your letters.

The letter goes inside a invitation type envelope
which can be bought in boxes off Amazon.
Going this way to get the envelope opened.
Hand written with a stamp put on which isn't straight.

Make it to a person's name and addressed to the persons name.

Hey Brian,

This $100 note says I can show you 3 things which
are costing you at least $10,000 in missed revenue.

Best part, it costs you nothing to implement.

I'm willing to put $100 on the line if you've got 5 minutes.

That's how little time it will take me to demonstrate easy
to fix mistakes on your website.

If after those 5 short minutes you thought I wasted your time,
then I insist you tell me right then, and I'll donate $100 to your favourite charity.

Call me now, and I'll demonstrate your missing thousands.

If the phone is busy, please try again later.

Am I the only one who reads that and, taking the perspective of your average business owner, just thinks 'scam'?

I mean, I look at my friends. Average everyday guys, they would read something like that and say 'sounds like a scam'.

Whenever it sounds like someone is saying "please just call me I swear it will be awesome please", it's kind of a turn off.

Then again, I am just speculating.

Dan Kennedy used a variation of this to get his new advertising consulting business
      going in 1973 and 1974..

Just bringing a overlooked advertising method into tody's world...

like I did for the "Don't Buy Web Design Until you read This..."
      ad I showed here.
It brought in $25,000 worth of business within 2 days and then
enough to put down a deposit on a 48' yacht.

That's just from one person who has used it.
Many others have and are using the same ad and have brought in money from it.

All evidence is here on the forum.

      It may not work,
however what worked in the past is a great starting point.
In fact better starting point than having no history of working.

      Best,
      Ewen
