Just looking for some call to action tips while on the phone with a small business owner to get a one call close. I usually have to make several calls to get a sale or have more then one meeting ( I think I some times get chatty which is natural n the way I build rapport). I need a call to action to use on the first call. Thanks in advance.

You know, the search feature will help you there. There are reams of quality information about selling by phone. Closing too.

I did search and found nothing I hadn't read already or didn't know. I always search before posting. I work full time and I'm trying to find ways to make the process faster that I may not know about so I can quit my curren job. Thanks for the advice.

Here is the page that I believe has the strongest close on it. It's by Ken Michaels. John and Ken had a little exchange, and it brought out the best of both master phone closers.

        I hope it helps.

Here is the way to call to action.

A: Sell them in the pitch.
B: Assume the sale. Ask a series of questions that close them into the deal, slowly commit them...

    • What are your company colors Bob?
    • Okay and which email address do you want me to lead your contact form to?
    • Okay great and is there a particular slogan you are wanting to use.
    • Are there any sales or special offers you want to promote on it...
    Okay great...

Go on and ask them a series of questions (Dont have to be the ones above), whereby, with each answer the prospects commit themselves further into the deal.

    Its called tying them down.

A person isnt ready to close until they have been tied down to some degree, it means they have practically agreed to do it on 3 different levels...

When you sense they are tied down well enough...

You look over your notes and say, okay it looks like I have everything I need here, now as far as cost bob... Usually we charge___________ but for a limited time we are only charging.... That's not going to be an issue today is it?

Okay, well I can have this processed for you and on the way to receiving visitors within the next seventy two hours...

    Have you got a pen?

Let me give you my number real quick, just in case you have any questions after we hang up... If Im not here to answer personally, one of our friendly reps will be glad to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

    Got that?

    Okay great,

Now as far as billing, we prefer to do all that electronically by visa, master card, american express, or check by phone , which of those will you be using today?

Okay great. Got that on you?

Note To OP: There are alot of ways to go about it. Thats how I do personally. Just assume the sale....if you pitch right, closing will be the natural assumption.

If you pitch right, closing is the natural conclusion. It may just be a matter of offering a legit response to a legit objection or two at most.
