Handwritten Font For Mailshot

OFFLINE MARKETING

Hi Guys (and Gals)

Can anyone suggest a reasonably easy way (I'm a non-techie kinda guy!) to download and use a font which resembles a human, handwritten type?

I'm looking to distribute a 500+ mailshot. In the past, when I have sent out smaller quantities, I have written every envelope myself, but 500 is too much and I think I need to try and automate it if possible.

Any recommendations?

  As a matter of interest, has anyone tested the difference in response rates between a handwritten style font and a more common standard font such as Arial or Verdanna?
  
  My big concern about handwritten fonts is that usually they are slightly more difficult to read. Surely, this fact cannot do any favours for overall response rates!! - although, granted, some handwritten fonts look much more personal.

Hi there,

We've experimented with children's fonts - using them as though our client's child wrote the letter. Crayon fonts work well for this.

Our response rates were always at least double what our normal response was. It's well worth testing.
