If you're not sure what that is, Microsoft Visio is probably the most popular one. I'd like to find a decent open source (free) software. Any recommendations?

There are a ton in the Chrome Marketplace. There is a combination of free and paid options.

I just did a search for "mindmap" and came up with over a dozen. Other search variations might net you more.
