Logo cost (+Tip for reselling)

Hi guys..
First , sorry for my lame and poor English.

I started to send some emails about people that need logo designs on craigslist .
i created a quick portfolio on weebly , and picked one of the best logo designers on Fiverr.com , with over 2000 clients and about 20 orders every day...

I then got a client who is intersted(after sending only 10 emails) , and after that I got from him the information of what he wants in his logo.
We agreed for that , and I told him the I have about 100+ orders in queue and it will take about 20 days , and I paid $5 to someone in fiverr.


After that I emailed the client telling him I was sorry because I forgot (I really did..) to mention that the duration time could be less if he willing to pay $25 to rush some things and get the logo ready in 2 days .

He then said 'We will no longer need your services'
I asked why and they told me that they are happy for me for having much clients , but they need someone who can have spare time for their needs , and not someone who is filled up and don't have time (and that's the tip, not every one will be happy if you have 100 orders waiting to complete...)

BTW I was only doing reselling , so acctually I did have time.

So , what is my question ?
I told him I will get his HQ logo ready in 24 hours , and choose another one from fiverr with good reviews and paid him.

Now , how much to charge for the logo ?

    So you actually told him you were using someone on fiverr?

    And how much did you ask for for the logo you didn't mention.

    Never tell someone you have 100 orders waiting, what's the point? Don't say more than you need to.

    Just say our average projects take a month including your revisions or something.

      No I didn't.
      I told him he would need to wait 20 days , and then he didn't want to continue with me ..and then I told him I could get it done within the next 24 hours.

      I didn't ask any money or talked about money with him ..

    some people charge 5 dollars, some people charge 2,000. You could probably sell them for 150 pretty easily.

    Telling him 20 days and then telling him 24 hours doesn't really do much for your credibility. In future I would suggest a sensible time frame of say 5 days and stick with it. If the clients asks for a quicker turnaround you can then negotiate an increased fee as you will be putting other orders to the back of the queue to accommodate his requirements.

      Yeah I kind of noticed all of my mistakes later on.
      I guess is the only wayto find out weather your doijg things right or wrong is to actually do them.

    How are you going to even consider choosing a service provider only to resell his services when he is taking 20 days to complete a single client of yours. Fix this fundamental problem by choosing someone more reliable and price your logos at 50-100 and you will have lots of customers.

    Your not a reseller and this business model is terreble! most fiverr logos are crap and thats exactly what they are worth! why would you try and rip people off of there money like that? I really hope your not charging these unsuspecting people more than like 10 dollars. What happens when they hate the logo? your going to end up paying people back a lot more than i think you realize.

      I choose quality providers on fiverr , and they actually have beauitiful and professional logo designs , and they also have unlimited revisions on so on.
      Why this client choose to pick me ? because he saw the portfolio and liked it and want sonething like that.

      If I will saw it's not profitable I will stop..

      Plus it's just in the meantime so I will have money to vuild my real business...
