What is your take on this new update from Matt Cutts???

Google: Links In Press Releases Should Use Nofollow Like Paid Links

Yep, no link juice. But placed in the proper places they can still get you traffic and be republished. I'd rule them out for SEO but not for traffic.

This is not as new, it was mentioned a while back that PR didn't have as much weight when it came to backlinks.
