OFFLINE MARKETING

Hello Warriors!
I am designing a locally based website and figured lawn signs would be a good way to drive a few customers my way.
Does anyone have a link of a company that does well made signs for fairly inexpensive? I am looking probably 2-3 Colors, doesn't have to be made out of ivory and diamonds, just something that looks fairly good when driving by and that wont break my bank. If you would rather PM my inbox is open!

Have you condidered water pressure stencils? How can the local authorities complain about that, since you're actually cleaning the sidewalk?

Yard signs may or may not work, but I guess any visibility is better than no visibility. Don't forget about posting in your local Craigslist city. It's competitive, but make sure you mention that you're LOCAL in that area, and you should get a few clicks per ad.

  You could always carry around a small bag of mud, just in case you find a prime spot that's not quite dirty enough.

  When I started up a "Deck Renewal" biz....every home we worked on had a Lawn Sign in front that said;
  
  "DECK RESTORATION IN PROGRESS! (BIG huge letters)
  Make Your Deck Like New...for 7 Years!"
  
  We got HUGE response from the neighborhood.....all wanting to know how THEY could make THEIR Decks look New, for 7 years!

I have a neighbor who does home remodeling and small construction/home improvement jobs.

He asked me a few years ago what i thought of his lawn sign. i tried to be nice... but in a round about way, told him it was a waste of money because there's very little leverage since we're in a low-traffic area.

Not only that, but I told him not too many people will take the time to stop in their car, pull over, take out a pen and write down the number or even call.

A few weeks later, I helped him put his biz on Google and Craigslist.

This past summer, while talking with him, he told me he gets 60% of his biz
from Craigslist and 40% from Google. Zip, zilch, nadda from lawn signs.

He asks each person where they hear or see his info... so he has a rough tracking method.

If you're in a well trafficked spot and it's not crazy expensive to get them made... i guess it's worth a shot.

but i can think of many other ways I'd get traffic... Craigslist, Facebook, Google, etc....
