Yeah, the reserve was a bit over the highest bid. I feel those who have shown interest (and even those who have not) are a bit hesitant to pursue things due to the Penguin issue (understandably)-- but, like I said in the copy (and there are many experts who agree), Penguin was an algorithmic change and not a penalty.

So, how I see it is that, the site is now almost like a start-up site, but with many of the of the bells and whistles most start-up sites do not have: plenty of original (static-page) content, 1,000s of blog pages already indexed, over a hundred downloadable products (albeit, free), already ranked in Yahoo/Bing, and Page Rank -- and it does have some good backlinks despite the low-quality ones already mentioned.

So, all that's needed is a new and better backlinking strategy in order to complement the already good backlinks, and balance out the low-quality ones (something I am not the most proficient at).

When all the positives are considered and you look at future potential (given past performance prior to April of this year), that was the reason for the higher-side reserve and current asking price.

Just takes the "right" person to see this...
