Then work towards creating your own product (video series, book or private membership/coaching, physical products).

That’s pretty straight forward. I don’t understand why so many ebook sellers make it so much complicated to their readers. ;-)

If you really have “enormous knowledge” on a niche – even if it’s a super competitive niche like how to lose weight – you can find non-competitive techniques to promote it, which others with less knowledge wouldn't know how to do.

There are always less competitive ways of promoting competitive niches, IF you know enough about them including, especially, who their enthusiasts/captive audience are.

“Competition” tends to apply mostly to SEO-based promotion methods, anyway.

There are always other, better, more secure, more stable, more reliable, less Google-dependent methods of niche promotion.

For example, instead of getting traffic from Google, focus on the top weight loss forums, or become a guru on Yahoo Answers or on any other Q&A site, send traffic to your site, capture leads, build a list, etc.

Really had a good look at these blogs - so the go is to just promote them as a hyperlocal blog and seek out the local traffic from your area - cause I'm thinking that is the only way you will really get them to rank anywhere. Put these blogs in your second tier and just let them do their thing - is that right?

I have a lot of content in quitting drinking and alcoholic areas and would think that the stop smoking one might work as a side niche - or I could covert the wine blog to met my fruitbaskets needs - and have it as a side project - sis that how it works?
