Is it a must our landing page to have a domain name with the niche name we want to target in order to maximize leads collection? Can we expect the same results with a generic domain name to target different landing pages containing the target niche? For example: Instead of having hotelsineurope.com we can have a generic domain name like www.xyz123.com/hotels/europe.html, www.xyz123.com/weightloss/venus.html, ... etc. ? Please advise.

    Hello.

I don't see a problem with a generic domain. It depends on your target audience. If they are new to the web or they are not knowing stuff, they might think that if you have a keyword stuffed domain name like "hotelsineurope" it means that you are the master of hotels in europe because you earned the right to use that name, and might add some value.

On the other hand, the branding might be improtant. If you have a nice, short, rememberable domain name then you might be better with more experienced users who understand that having a keyword stuffed domain name is just a hit and go strategy, while presenting a brand name, even if it is not well known yet, means you are in for the long run.

I think that most people see more results with keyword stuffed domain names, but it is pretty hard to find a good one in a crowded niche. If the domain have more than 3 words then you better stay away. Ideal is 2 words.
