I'm about to enter into the world of affiliate marketing...

At the moment I've got loads of ideas floating around in my head however i don't want to invest too much effort into building full websites when I'm just at the testing stage.

I just want to build a page advertising affiliate product like a hotel booking website or maybe some related micro niche amazon products

I want to spend £5 a day on adverts and let it run for a week then analyse, change and/or scale up. ( or give up if it turns out to be hopeless)
#page #single #work

For paid traffic, yes. SEO -- it's going to be hard to rank it.

When it's just to test, then yes sure you can only use one page.

A few things on that end.

    * Most people don't see a ROI on paid ads cost vs conversion income.

    * Yes 1 page can work, if its got good traffic, low competition, good buyers and good conversion ratios. (or a combo of that)

*seo is often better then running ads but of course harder, less of a math game though.

    * a hotel booking site would likely have a high cost for ads, sounds popular and pricey.

    Hello there!

Honestly, I would not even try to market hotel booking using SEM (Search Engine Marketing). It will be a highly competitive niche to advertise within, which means that your CPC (Cost Per Click) is going to probably be very high. 5 pounds might get you a click or two, which I would wager heavily upon being far too expensive to make a profit affiliate marketing. You'll also get useless data too, as you can't measure a conversion rate, etc with so few clicks.

A lot of affiliate marketers make large multi-page blogs to market things like that.

I have a suggestion, as you mentioned you were interested in marketing some Amazon products. Explore dropshipping. It's not for everyone, but, if done correctly, you can make money.

Instead of creating a single page with affiliate advertisements, you should create a squeeze page and promote in emails.

In this way you will collect emails, which you can use in future for promoting more products and generating traffic.

single page sites (landing pages) are totally fine with paid ads, that's what most of affiliates do: creating a bridge page between traffic and your offer

Single Page Website is Perfect for PPC, but just keep in mind whatever is the content of Your ADD it must be on your page. Like if you put any offer in add that offer must be clearly shown on your page.

A one page website layout is great for sites that only need to share a little bit of information on each topic. Sharing Specific Content is Difficult because all of the content on a variety of topics exists on one page with the same URL it’s hard for visitors to share specific content from your site. Everyone will always land on your website the same way on the same page.

    Greetings,

having a single page can work, but the website will not be as smooth as having some optimized landing pages.

A one page website can work well when there is a specific product, which can be advertised by a single, high converting keyword e.g. a brand. I have seen Adwords used for slimming products that land on a one page website with an affiliate link. If the link converts enough to pay more than the overall cost of the ads, you are a winner. Something like a hotel website, with a lot of competition, generic target keywords and several customer options is not likely to make more money from affiliate sales than it costs in Adwords. In my opinion, a large website with a good SEO and social media strategy would work better in this instance. It's all about trial and error.

To be honest £5 a day is nothing and the most common scenario is that you won't get proper date and will end up wasting your money and time without getting a clear picture of the market.

You need to do some proper testing in order to collect date and see which keywords do work and which do not...

A single page site would be appropriate as the landing page for a PPC / Adwords ad, since these landing pages should have a single-topic focus. Moreover they can be optimised for that one topic, the subject of your ad.

A single page is ok if you have huge budget. But, with $5 you will waste your money. So, start with serious work. There is no fast schema. Create product, build website with Blog, post articles for a 1 year, build a list, build Organic traffic, build audience and the results will come up.

Online Marketing needs hard work, creating content and it's a long run game.

yes you can use single page or a single page website. but if you have more pages website then its a better because i single page website you cant use sitelink extension. and sitelink extension is a 1 of the most useful ticks to increase ctr.

You could set up small website in Wordpress super fast to test your affiliate offers. Even if you only have one sales page, I would suggest adding a few supplementary pages like "About us" or whatever is appropriate just to make your site look more legitimate to customers.
