Hi Folks,
I want to target European countries in facebook ads
England,
Germany,
France,
Netherlands,
Austria,
Switzerland,
Australia,
I shocked when I heard the CPC is very high, than US and Canada, is it true?
I guess my niche doesn't have much competition !!

    Great chart you have there derekwong28.

    Obviously, the CPC varies by niche and keyword but, in general, for the more developed European countries the click prices are more or less similar to US&Canada.

    Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) are very rich and on average people earn similar or even more than in the US. And that impacts the CPC.

    I'm a little surprised about Israel being so high.

    And Australia is most definitely not a European country (that goes to OP)

    Thanks for linking our report.

    Hoping in to add a couple of additional info:
    1) Take those data with a grain of salt, they are averages on millions of dollars of ads but still averages between users promoting enterprise products and users doing arbitrage with buzzfeed like content.

    2) Focus on ROI not on clicks. We get very cheap clicks and leads in Brazil for examples. Yet in those countries often they don't have budget to buy AdEspresso and overall we get higher ROI from US than South America.

    3) South Europe is cheaper than north Europe

    4) Some European countries may have problems with English and become more expensive: Spain, France, Italy are on top of my mind here.
