Hi warrior felllows. I have question that is confusing my mind. If i create ppc campaign on google adword. Xyz campagin and i took some keywords for it. Google will display the quality score based on that keywords. If i have to improve it. Like someone told me to create your own landing page for it. If i do so then what is about my destination URL? Will i mention their an address of my landing page? Or my affiliate id? Because if i use other url in destination url section? Won't it could confuse the issue prospect? Or should i use an address of my landing page over there along with tracking tokens? Please help me as it is really making me confused. Thanks

    Hi Awais_Afzal1,

Google did away with Destination URLs last year. They replaced destination URLs with Final URLs and Tracking URLs.

Standard text ads are already in the process of being phased out by AdWords. Standard text ads are no longer the default format for new text ads as they are being replaced with brand new Expanded text ads, ads with 2 separate headlines, which are reported to work better for mobile devices.

Your Quality Scores are based primarily on the CTR of your ads. If you want to improve your keyword Quality Scores you need to do 2 things:
    1. Optimize your account structure by splitting your ad groups into groups of tightly focused keyword lists
    2. Write compelling ad text that is centered on user's intent and context as indicated by the specific search terms triggered by your ad group's keywords.

By matching the message of your ad text to the user's intent and context you will earn better Quality Scores by getting above average CTRs.

If you also match your landing page content to that same user intent and context you can also optimize conversion rates.
