Hi, I have a blog about "Restaurant City Cheats" Restaurant City Cheats and Tips I get an average of 4000 to 5000 unique visitors (From Google Analytics) to my site DAILY, but I get only 3-8clicks (Adsense) daily, which rounds up to be $0.20 to $0.80 in total. Any tips or suggestion to improve that? |

Hello Amernian, Can I make a comment, Your ads don't appear to be particularly relevant to the content of your website this is important to getting a better click rate from adsense. Also your main heading says Restaurant city cheats and tips I'm unclear what these are perhaps in the first introduction paragraph you could put an explaination what this means so the web viewer knows what to expect from your website. Have you tested putting adsense in different areas of your website to see if it affects your click rate? You obviously get loads of great traffic so I'm assuming you have some good keywords that people are using from Google search I don't know if this can be improved on. Hope this helps, you will also find loads of great advice in the Adsense section of the forum by looking at other warriors threads. Cheers Keren |
Have a great day

Hi, you have a game website with cheats for the game but your adsense ads are for Taco Bell, Restaraunt Mgmt. School, Subs etc.. To get ads more closely related to your sites content go into your adsense account, click "adsense setup", the "competitive ad filter" and start blocking fast food, restaurant, schools etc. websites. As you see new non-related website ads show up copy and block them also. I would also recommend adding some keywords related to your subject, games, gaming, game cheats etc. without using the word Restaraunt. That will help adsense focus on your topic. I'm not sure where your visitors are coming from, perhaps purchased? You need to do a keyword study to find profitable keywords and the SEO your site using those keywords. This will bring targeted visitors Then if you are focusing your site on adsense sales make them much more visible. Move your two banners down on the right and put an adsense tower add on top. You have a large gap between "Latest RC Cheats" and "Amazing Maze", put an adsense ad in that space. Create an ad for that space that has 5 ads in it. Make the colors the same as your sites theme. You have a good start on a game site. Just add some great content and do some basic SEO using the right keywords and you'll do great. I should add, most of your content isn't very wide or deep on the page as you know. I would look for a theme that pushes your content to the middle of the page and narrows it up so it is easier to read and doesn't look as scattered. This helps your visitors focus and will show your ads much clearer. In site design easy for your customer is always best. Stephen |

Instead of showing adsense ads why don't you use CPA offers? If you receive indeed 5000 real visitors per day, you should do a lot better using zip and email offers. Just try it for a few days and see what happens. Good luck. |

Google crawls through your website to determine the theme throughout the website. If google sees many words on the website with "restaurant" of course they think the site will be about restaurants hemce the taco bells and other restaurants. So to influence the relevance (without getting into the specific details on optimization) you just need to add the more relevant keywords to your site. |

totally different question, I have 24"monitor and your blog automaticcaly uses my entire screen, as for all of my own blogs they ca=ome only in the middle, how can i change that? As for your ads, the restaurant will surely be the problem for the google ads. Indeed, use the filter on your adsense account |

Step back and study the tutorials/help etc that google has on your Adsense account...I know little myself, but everyone is right, YOU have a lot to do with narrowing down what keywords (perhaps even Negative KW?) and blocking what you know is irrelevant and/or competitor sites from showing ads. how is THAT for a runon sentence?? |

Hello Kfoong, thank you for your answer. I understand that the keywords in the metatag is not enough but must appear in the text of the page "more than one time" :-) . Thank you for helpful comment. |

Thanks for all the advices. Most of the traffic comes from YouTube and my bounce rate is about 60%. Guess I need to filter some of the ads, but I can see certain ads that are region based. For example, I don't see Taco bell and restaurant mgmt and such as my region doesn't have those. So how do I know what to filter?
