Hi! Most banners, i know are made especially to be placed on a website, their code is either "html" or "bbc" code, now when on most traffic exchange they ask only for the banner url, just the url; not html..!! what do they mean? And how to find that url? I would appreciate some help with the matter. Cheers, |

Here is what you see with affiliate banners for your website and here is how you brake it down to use in Traffic Exchanges. Here is one of PIPS banners that you have. Now the link after href= is your affiliate link: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/main-27967 The link after <img src= is the banner link: http://images.pluginprofitsite.com/banners/newpipsbanner.gif No matter what affiliate banners you use they will most likely be set up this way. Just find the href= and the link after that will be your affiliate link and the one after <img src= will be the banner link. Nathan was right with the example he gave you, it would look like this if he were to put it on his website. <a href=http://corel-photo-paint.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> <img src=http://corel-photo-paint.com/photo-paint-banner2.jpg" border="0"> I hope this helped, |

Hi Kanga, Bill had provided you with good and excellent explanation. Mine is some how similar too, that time Patricia told you that you can get your banners from PIPS Member site, under marketing, they consist of lead capture pages and banners. You can get banners at the end of the page, the link is there. There is a lot of banners there, I am lazy to count how many are there. I pick one that is about dotcomology banner:Example: the html code given: The first line "a href" is the link address embedded (where it should goes) in the banner, the second line "img src" is the address, where the image (where it comes from). The first bold link is where you will need to change it to your PIP affiliate link. The second bold link is for example you will to host your own banners on your website. * Hosting your own banners may be a good idea as you need not go to members' site again and again to get it on and off. If you don't want to host your banner, you just need to change the first bold link to your PIP affiliate link. ![]() Hope it really help you! Cheers, Erica |
