DO I Have to Optimize My Blog

I'm into SEO and my home page is currently listed in the search engines except for my blog.

I have my home page optimized but don't know if my blog needs to be manually optimize since i followed PIPs training on integrating my site to my blog.

If i look into my blog HTML i don't see my home page title, meta tags except <$Blogger>.

Quite alright my blog content is optimized. Do i have to copy and paste my home page TITLE, META TAGs and remove that bloggers sign.

Have you used any of the SEO plugs for your blog? Which platform are you using for your blog (Wordpress I am assuming?)?

John,

I will answer your question at the end of this post. Personally, if it were my blog, YES, I would optimize it. Your blog will drive more traffic to your website then just your website alone. The search engines love blogs because they are always being updated with content.

On the other hand, I would venture a guess that you have not added any new or unique content to you main website since you installed it. Have You?

Putting new content on to your blog on a regular basis, using the SEO plug-ins, and submitting articles to directories with a backlink to your website is what is going to get you the majority of visitors to your PIPS site.

Now to answer your question - DO I Have to Optimize My Blog.

NO YOU DON'T - You don't have to do anything if you decide not to. However, to be successful, you DO need to do everything possible to get people to come and click on your homepage links. The decision is your!

Yes, I do optimize my blog by putting meta tags after html tag: <head>..

Obviously Blogger since the OP stated his META tag reads "<$Blogger>." :rolleyes:

As Allen suggested, I recommend you do optimize your blog. Unfortunately, there's only so much you can do with Blogger to optimize it, and it's a bit confusing. If you want to know how just let me know, and I'll do my best to explain it.

I personally don't know why Stone keeps pushing Blogger when Wordpress is A LOT better. Perhaps another update is needed?

Hi John,

In the latest version of the 30 Days To Success Guide Stone recommends Wordpress blog. To answer your question, yes, you should definitely optimize your blog as that is where you probably add the most content on a daily basis.

Well i am not new in marketing but yes I am new in bloggin and all these things about optimize are true.... You have to optimize and I was reading a lot and I have found some brand new templates that are perfectly for seo but I don´t remember where I found them maybe you have to google it...
