Hi Everyone, I recently joined PIPS and am starting to get the impression that unless I participate in all of their "upsells" I don't have a chance of earning much. My concern is not about investing in my business, I just want to invest wisely. I feel as if the PIPS offers aren't always the best option for me (ie. GDI). I'd be very interested in hearing how others feel about this and sharing their own experiences. Thanks! |

All of the affiliate programs are optional. All of the recommendations in the training or emails are optional. The only requirement is to pay for your own annual domain name registration and monthly hosting account fees. If you complete the 30 Days to Success training you will find many free ways and very inexpensive ways to promote your business. Ideally you would want to hit the ground running if you could afford to pay for one or more of the paid advertising options. That way you can be building momentum while you are learning how to do the free techniques. This is not, however necessary to succeed with this program. What is necessary is persistent effort over time. In fact, whether or not you are able to purchase any services that will help you, you should still use the free strategies such as blog and article marketing - both free, both labor intensive. However, building backlinks is the number one thing to do - that does not change... |

Jaqs, It good that you have a presence of mind with regards to PIPS. Your impression is about half right. Like any MLM program, to make money with each program you have to be at a certain level before they will pay you any sort of residual income on the individuals that sign up for the programs under you. The beauty of PIPS is that you have very good 'core' programs that have the 'potential' of making you a good monthly income. However, before you can earn a decent monthly income, you must first get people to come and sign up for your programs and in turn, they must upgrade to a higher paid membership level. Obviously, the more people who sign up, the more residual income you will receive each month for the respective program. The one thing that is a constant is that YOU must also be at the higher paid level of membership in each program to receive any money from thier upgrades. You state you have no concern about 'investing' in your business. That is a good thing, as you apparently have enough income to be able to afford the initial investments... many newbies do not have that luxury and come in to PIPS or any other program with dreams of immediate wealth just around the corner. My suggestion to you is that instead of investing money right away, you INVEST YOUR TIME in learning ABOUT each business, in learning to get traffic to your websites (marketing your site, writing and submitting articles, blogging, acquiring reciprocal and one way links), learning how to BUILD A LIST (this is the most important thing at the beginning). Until you understand the fundamentals of an online business, buying every "upsell" as you call them will not get you to where you want to be. Once you start noticing you are getting a lot of traffic to your website, getting a regular amount of daily optins to your newsletter, then you should decide which programs you want to upgrade in. Each of the programs Stone 'recommends' has some very good training that is tailored around marketing that specific program. Take TIME and learn each of their marketing plans and methods. The bottom line, don't expect a monthly income immediately. If you read Stone's own salespage, he states it took him TWO YEARS to begin makiing a decent income. He's taken a LOT of the learning curve out of the online business equation by finding 6 good programs. He "suggests" you sign up for each one to make the optimum amount of monthly income possible. You are provided a very good training book and other excellent startup materials to get you and your business off the ground. Where you take PIPS or your Baby Clothes website business is UP TO YOU - and ONLY YOU. So, invest your TIME wisely, and then when you are comfortable in your abilities and your knowledge about each business, promote the one's you like and add other programs that are of more interest to you and promote them as well. You may also wish to read the information at the link below. There are some well thought out ideas on using PIPS as a new business venture. http://www.warriorforum.com/plug-pro...MLiOWbkt4MX47F Remember, until you LEARN it's pretty hard to EARN. Allen Lundy |

Patrician and Allen, Thank you both for your responses. I found them to be very helpful. I agree that knowledge is extremely important and have been spending a great deal of time researching IM and affiliate marketing. I am just trying to decide where it is best to spend my time and money and want to make sure PIPS is one of the right choices. Sounds like it is! Thanks again! |

When I started I opted into everything and bought every program in the 30-day training, that was a huge waste of money. Learn tjhe business, research IM blogs a read what they teach, build a collection of IM books and read them. You should spend more on educating yourself at first than promotion. Then when you buy stuff get a deal, don't pay top dollar or sign up to the top position right away. Educate and start at the bottom, it'll work that way. |

As I am only three or so months into Internet Home Business, I do agree with some comments, suggestions and recommendations. Before I first started did some homework and signed in one autopilot money making program, there was tons of materials to read up and sometime many process steps. in between you start receiving all kinds offers on how to make $xxxx dollars in very short time. then it hit me, stay focus and work your plan. This when I was introduced PIPs where I am less than a month now. I see challenges a head. Stay focus on your goal and take actions, key learnings.
