Hi to all, After one of my regular visits to Darrin's pipsitehelp page i decided that i was going to set up an adsense account so that when i start getting traffic i would have another stream of income. I went ahead and filled the sign up form in google and after a while (3 weeks i think) i get an email back from google saying they have declined my application due to my website promoting other affiliate sites and or pay per click adverts. Has anybody else had trouble setting up an adsense account? Also is it worth applying again and if so how long do i need to wait? To your future success Alan ![]() |

Yes, I had a similar problem. Took G over two weeks to say No. I thought it was because I was on holiday in China [3 months], but seeing your post, now I don't know.. So with my Google/Gmail accounts [had those for 5 years], I set about writing blog[s] for Blogger. But Google had already 'blocked' any attempt to use the blogger part & to write anything or publish it! With out me replying to a Google SMS mobile message sent to an Australian mobile in Perth, where I normally live. The problem is because of the extended holiday, the Aussie mobile is 12,000 miles away and also out of any credit/time. I have gotten around some of the problems in China, by getting a free USA ISP [FreeU], that gets me around the censorship here and informs the world I am surfing in the USA. But I only did this AFTER my problems with Google. Should I get a friend in Australia [or anywhere except China!] to receive a Google SMS & email it to me. Or should I use another pc and use a slighlty different identity with the USA ISP to open a 'new' Blogger [& ultimately adsense] account? |

It is very common these days for Google to deny an application for Adsense and even Adwords. What I suggest is to post to your blog for a while - at least 10-20 unique articles. Then apply for Adsense DIRECTLY FROM THE BLOG (if you use blogger) Once you get your publishers code you can use it wherever you want to. |

Alan - at BLOGSPOT when you login you are at the Dashboard. At the bottom are links and you want to find 'Monetize' - You may have a different version and will need to look around - but it should still say 'Monetize'. |

Thanks Patricia, My Google Account/Gmail just reverted again to say 'I do exist' and I can write & submit blogs. Very strange... Nothing altered at this end. So I started last night, 2 down so far. More today. I see the Monetize button, but I am keeping away from until I have some 'history' etc. |

It should only take a few posts on your Blogger blog to get approved, but make sure you use your blog as the URL when registering, and don't link to any affiliate programs from your blog until after you're approved.
