I have bought many e-books on how to get more visitors to my site but 98% of them were junk. Writing articles, commenting on people’s blogs and submitting press release are hard anyway! I need an advice on the best strategy of getting more traffic.

commenting on blogs gets you backlinks, with backlinks you get to be on Google first page meaning you get a lot of traffic, but you can do PPC or facebook ads, if you have the money to pay for those go for it

The best strategy may not necessarily be the quickest. Since you asked for the best, i'll say the best is SEO since this is eventually cheapest and ultimately sustainable but it takes quite a while to see results. But if you ask for the quickest, i'll say it is PPC(Google Adwords) but you must be well versed in it to be successful with it. A blend of the two with a constant review of the mix based on the success you are seeing with SEO may not be a bad idea.

Ultimately, getting organic traffic is dependent on the number and quality of backlinks you have all over the internet. Just keep building backlinks and eventually you will begin to see results.

The most difficult thing to change however which helps is one's mindset. If one can adjust to the reality that it takes a while(6 months to 1 year) to see results, then one would relax with the assurance that one is on track as long as one is taking MASSIVE, CONSISTENT and DIVERSIFIED ACTION.

Another FAST way to get targeted traffic is solo ads in niche specific Ezines. If you can find Ezines with TONS of subscribers, you can buy a SOLO ad and have the owner run your ad in his/her ezine. if the SOLO ad is effectively written, you can get a boat load of traffic ( and perhaps sales) in record time. The cost of the solo ad varies from ezine to ezine....but for instant targeted traffic...its a great option.

I do not have any experience with document sharing sites, but I have heard good things about scribd. I am not familiar with doctoc. What I am doing is ezine advertising, which can very effective if your target the ezine properly.

I have an ecommerce site and some other make money sites. In my experience the free traffic is best. It definitely is not the quickest.
I do not have lots of cash to spend on paid advertising, and to be honest , it has not paid off for me.
I try to track every ad I post and log the sales, hits, signups etc. I have gotten most sales from articles, posts on blogs in my niche and forums.

With all that said, I am still not making enough to make a living doing this. I have not found the magic nugget yet that brings in hordes of traffic that is ready to buy. I keep placing ads. Hopefully it will work soon.

I think my main site's rise to front page of google has been due to a new blog. It doesn't get all that much traffic but at least I am being seen for some big keywords.

I have also had limited success using traffic exchanges and credit based safelists. Those are mostly for make money type products though.

Traffic exhanges an and do work if you target the right people. As Brad91 said, it's mostly for make money sites.

If you decide to use them don't send people to some big web site, they don't care to read much and they won't stay on your page long. The majority of users seem to be newbies and that is a good thing because they are still searching for a way to make money. I know because a traffic exchange is how I got into online work and so did many others in this forum. For a smart marketer they can be a gold mine.

Use a short and very well written Squeeze page and capture emails. Offer them something for free, something of value. Once you get a subscriber build a relationship with the person and don't try to sell them something right away (that's how low level marketers do it, kind of scammy in my opinion). Give them great business information and a lot of it. Then after a few emails slip in some one line ads for something you are selling or for your PIPs sales page. If you can keep them interested they will buy from you once their trust has built up.

The number one thing you should be doing is building your list. No matter if it's a small Niche site or your Plug-In-Profit Site. Build a list in every market you enter. Build a list, build trust, make money.

If your new to making your own products you need to first become a paid member to this forum and go the the http://www.warriorforum.com/war-room...e-discussions/ . Give away a couple products you have created and get some feed back. Use that information to build a WSO. There are plenty of people who make a good living selling WSO's and it all starts with your reputation.

It's not hard to build a reputation on the Warrior forum. Just go to the main forum and start asking and answering questions. Never scam and don't try to sell. Just be helpful and stay positive. Then give away a product or two that you have made. At first it's best to give away review copies and let people tell you what they think. Use that info to make your product better and then give it away in the above forum.

Do the same thing with a product you plan on using as a WSO, give out some review copies. Then improve it and use the reviews as testimonies on your WSO.
