The bad thing about it is I don't know what I did to get there...Please help!! I'm very confused. 1. Have you verified this by googling it yourself? 2. Do you do business with searchenginegenie? If yes, AND you strictly let them promote your site, FIRE THEM. If yes, AND you were doing stupid stuff on your own, FIRE YOU(you broke it) If no, it sounds like spam. Or perhaps you signed up for site monitoring with them? Check all the keywords you know you should rank for. If your ranking dropped for all the keywords you previously ranked well for, be prepared for a slow couple of months. Your analytics/logs app will tell you if traffic has actually dried up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here: If you have been penalized, stop and reevaluate everything you've been doing SEO-wise. Something was either too fast(seemed unnatural) or just plain bad(spammy). Start over with making more good content and building honest, regular backlinks. You also might want to start working on another site, or non-google ways of generating traffic. |

Here is a copy of the information from Google... Site URL: http://www.rcmodel-airplanes.com Your site is in 102 position which is virtually considered to be still in Google Sandbox. Contact support@searchenginegenie.com to get you out of Sandbox I sent them a email to the address above....Haven't gotten any response yet. Question #2. No, I don't do business with them. I put up some videos in YouTube to promote my business and did some back links from the method of Matt Carter...other than that I don't know what I could have done... Is there anything put out by Google that you can read to see how they measure what you are doing with your site? Anything would be helpful. Thanks again, Gerry | |

First. You did not get an email from Google telling you to contact someone else about your placement. (FYI, google does not use the term sandbox.) Second: Reread my first post and answer all the questions. I believe all you need to know Is there. |

Keep building links and make sure they are from quality sites (relevant to your niche, high PR, etc) Once you come out, you will rank way higher than you did before. PS: You aren't even sandboxed. I just checked. You're probably just bouncing cuz google doesnt know what to do with all of these new links. Just keep building them at a steady pace and make sure they are from quality sites. Trust me. |

Hi, I just checked your website and you are ranking 14 for main keyword. How did you manage to get out of sandbox? And how long it took? |

Basically it just means your not in the top 10 pages of the SERPs. Just keep building your backlinks and adding new content to your website. The search engines like lots of content. When you get to page 10 of the SERPs...you won't get the message anymore. |

Thanks Gerry for sharing your experience with us, it helps to know there is a way out if this should happen. I thought that sandbox was reserved to newly created sites for the first months when they went online.

Your site is not sandboxed. It is just hoping in and out. Just continue with the link building and content. You should be fine.
