This is an old stats spoofing trick.

Webmasters do this as a way to try and get traffic to their sites.

They hope that people will see it in their stat logs and then visit their site.

would agree that you need an About Me page. You need to some how identify your navigation... people are simply used to having buttons on top. Its ok you don't, but you need to somehow make it clear...

It looks like a pretty clean web page, but it needs more. There is no navigation bar or an about me page etc. It needs a lot more content. Starting to look good though.

Clear the browser cache first.

Also the width seems to be related to this inline css
