Jquerymobile Framework for Mobile Web Sites
So I spent the afternoon finishing off a project around Christmas as a theme for any business that wants to spruce up their mobile web site for the upcoming holiday season.
This is also a real untapped market and one I feel confident enough could be used as a lost leader to get a local business on board. No one likes missing out on having a Christmas theme in store, on television, in a magazines or their local newspaper.
If Jonesey has one then they want one as they do not want to miss out or be left out.
So giving them a way of doing so online is a real smart move for the ones that can see the benefit of using any holiday season or special occasion as the draw card.
Now because I am a programmer and IM'er I wanted to be able to drop any logo design and theme into the templates I designed and automatically have a new site design ready.
Let me show you what I mean. I coded these pages once and then switched out the logo, icons and theme to have a totally new web site designed.
The images shown below are the actual PC web sites. So this is what you would see by going to the web site. And the iPhone images further down show the exact same web site being rendered and viewed on any smartphone without needing a redirect script.

Using the default theme. Creating my own theme.

Using the default theme. Creating my own theme.

The above is just 4 of the 34 different Christmas themed mobile web sites I created simply by switching out the logo, changing the icons and the color theme.
Each web site has coded pages for:
- Index page. [a little obvious that this would be required. lol]
- Tap to call button is built into the jquerymobile framework. You can add your own customized Tap-to-Call button.
- Contact Page with contact_mailer.php
- Location page
- Hours page
- Products page
- Coupon page
- Gallery page
- Booking page with booking_mailer.php
- Testimonial page
- Optin page
- Terms Policy Page
- Privacy Policy page
- About Us page
- Video page [not shown but you can add it if you wish.]
- Services page [not shown but you can add it if you wish.]
- YouTube
If you can use Notepad ++ and copy-n-paste; you can do almost anything with these templates. Each page has the section well documented where you need to add your clients text.
For those that will ask... YES each page is coded as a separate page and NOT part of a multipage.
So all the hard coding and programming has been done.
The images below show my Restaurant Template which again can be very quickly adapted to any food industry by switching out the logo and creating a new color them

More on this later today. As I will be making some of what you see here available.
But for now I must get some shut eye as it is 4:04am here.
Enjoy and don't be afraid to ask questions. If I can answer them and or help you with design and code just let me know.
