I agree with the previous posters.

I'll just add that I learned to use PHP by getting my information from a variety of sources. Type "Learn PHP" into Google, and you'll find a number of sites with good information to help you get started.

As someone who has been programming for years here is my two cents! As many mentioned above, w3schools is great and for basic programming practice Learn to code | Codecademy is good as well. PHP.net is your friend, even if you have been programming for years it is so useful, you will never remember every function!

PHP Tutorial - Introduction is also very good, follow their tutorials! Once you are done build something! A simple send mail with all validation practices will teach you a lot, a tiny cms will teach you wonders. When you think you are done you are not, there is always something you can learn, implement or understand better.

It's good I landed here. I have been using HTML to design websites and I taught myself. But recently, I developed a strong passion for learning PHP so that I can also design dynamic websites.

I visited http://wwww3schools.com/php/ where I chanced on nice tutorials. But as you know it's never easy at the beginning and I am happy to get additional learning resources here. I'm still learning slowly by slowly.

I would like to know how I can integrate PHP in an HTML webpage. How do I go about it. The tutorials in www.w3schools.com only give brief examples that do not give me the real bigger picture. Can someone give me an example of a complete HTML webpage with PHP integrated in it for illustation purposes. Hopefully I will get it better. I appreciate the contributions of all the members to this thread.
