How do I get fb like button to update like count on facebook page

Hi...

I have a site which uses the facebook like button...

Id like the count on the sites actual facebook page (see footer of main site for facebook page link) to update when someone likes my site, so that if a user hits the like button on my site, the count on my facebook page increments as well..

How do I do this, does anyone have time to point me in the right direction or provide a link to how this can be done..?

    The code works automatically, simply google for facebook button, you'll find it in the first page and apply it on your site. It will automatically count the like.

    Thanks for the replies, I already have the like button on my site, my issue is if I press the like button on my site it increments as normal but the facebook page like count remains at zero

    Go to Like Button - Facebook Developers and enter the URL of your fanpage (e.g. Ã...žiirsel ve Güzel Sözler | Facebook) in the URL to Like field. Then copy-paste the code you'll get (after clicking on "Get Code") to your website - iFrame code is probably the easiest.

    The Like button that you'll get will do what you want: every time someone likes it, they will like your fanpage.

    You use small button instead of large, small button doesn't display the count

    Thanks everyone, I finally figured out where I went wrong...

    I was trying to use the default url to promote my site and just link the count back to my facebook page, what I didnt realise is the lnk you provide is the link it likes so it was liking all over my site but I cant update my facebook page that way...

    anyone know a hack to link the button to 2 urls.. my main site page and my facebook page or am I asking tooooo much lol

      Hacking the button for 2 URL's isn't possible unfortunately..
