Hey warriors, maybe you can all help me with something. I have a website that is taking a really long time to load.

There are 7 different css files. Could that cause a long load time?

Any help is appreciated.

Probably not, unless they're gigantic files. Chances are your host is to blame. It's hard to say without knowing more.

Or you add to many pictures or videos on your website that's why it happened.

If your using a database based CMS (Wordpress, Joomla, etc) - Often times I find that the problem is usually server side with slow database queries. Are you using a good host?

Yep, Andrew H may be right.

Slow DB queries on "bad" hosts (or overcrowded) can be a big problem.

CSS files (even if you load 20) are NO problem, they are getting loaded simultaneously (depending on your browser).

JS files can (mostly 3rd party scripts) a big problem, too.

Without knowing your website I can not tell you where the problem is...

Two client sites I recently had to fix slow page loads on ended up having htaccess issues. Once I had corrected these page load times went from 10 secs to 2-3. Worth a look.
