Hello here,

The penguin 3.0 really affected my site. I read several articles how to recover my site is to clean up BAD BACKLINKS.

But the trouble is:

"How Do I Identify and Remove / Disavowed Bad Backlinks?"

1. Is there a plugin (maybe free) that can help?

2. Is there a simple way to identify them?

3. How do I go about this task and avoid removing or disavowed good and relevant backlinks?

HOW?

You can use link detox if you can afford it or get an Ahrefs subscription and do it manually. Bad links are usually:

    - Links in bad neighbourhoods (pharma, adult, gambling, etc.)
    - Links on pages with spun content
    - Links on pages containing many spammy outgoing links
    - Exact match anchor text links
    - Links on penalised sites
    - In some cases, links on irrelevant sites/pages

    ...and more.
