Building Tiered Links To Web2.0 - What Did You Build and Do You Still Rank Post Penguin 3.0?

Just curious if anyone is still having succes post penguin 3.0 with tiered link building using web2.0's as tier 1.

Please share your story here and detail what type of tiered links you've used and the type of anchors you used for these tiered links.

Personally I had great results with PAD submissions, forum posts and article directory links in tier 2, but that's quite some time ago. Especially the forum posts (though on inactive forums) and PAD submissions turned out very effective, either in tier 1 or tier 2. Later on it was plain out stupid to use that as tier 1 links.

    Yes.. If you know how to do that..

    Here is my strategy:

    - High quality unique text on all tier 1 web 2.0 blogs
    - Up to 15 posts per each web 2.0 blog
    - I set links to my money sites in third post on each web 2.0 blog
    - Up to 3 backlinks to my money sites from each web 2.0 blog
    - Up to 1 backlink to authority site (wikipedia, about....)

    Backlinks to tier1:

    - Facebook group
    - Twitter profile
    - Linkedin post
    - Pinterest
    - Digoo
    - Reddit
    - etc..

    My advice:

    Do not use tools such a Ultimate Demon, GSA SER on your tier 1 !

      You seem to spend an awful lot of money on content on properties that you don't have full control over. I am not sure if that's the best thing to do really, thanks for your time explaining it though.

      Do you setup unique social accounts for each web2.0 or do you use a service like AddMeFast? You do realize Twitter, Facebook and perhaps LinkedIn and Pinterest are nofollow right? I don't think that will give much SEO benefit.

      Good to hear it works out well for you, for me it sounds like too much effort for too little benefit but could be wrong.

        That's why I was asking what he does with those.

        People create these massive tiered structures of links that are rendered totally useless from 1 nofollow links.
