After creating backlinks, my website is disappearing

I placed several orders on fivver and attracta to create backlinks for my website: https://mudawwana.com, but I now the outcome is: links are disappearing from the search engine. But internal links for which I didn't create backlinks are appearing in the first and second page of the google. One page is appearing on the first spot of google, even before Wikipedia. Without creating any backlink, it's fluctuating in position. Sometimes it's at the first spot, sometimes at the second spot or alike. But the problem is with backlinks.

I don't know how to check the status of backlinks and Google penalty if any. Can anyone help? I don't want to take help from SEO companies now, they're not helping my website, instead, they're destroying my website.

To be fair, you never hired an SEO company. Don't blame "SEO Companies" for your loss in rankings. What you hired was shitty link builders, which is all you will find at a place like Fiverr.

This is what happens when you build junk links.

Attracta is just a mass link blast company that many web hosts advertise for a commission. They put a few links from their little known and no authority directories and other sources.

So you muddied the waters by hiring several different organizations at once. Meaning, you have no idea which ones were doing a good job and which were doing a bad job.

You were using black hat seo strategy. That's why that happened. I suggest you to remove all the backlinks. trust me.

Look at the backlinks they got for you. Are any of them on real websites where the owner of that website had to make a decision whether to link to your site or not? Likely not!

Most of these cheap "SEO companies" build the following worthless links that can also harm your rankings:

    - Free directory listings that accept anyone who applies
    - Blog comment links
    - Forum links (profile or within a post)
    - Splog articles (links placed in articles on worthless sites about everything under the sun, often with anchor text links inserted in the copy that make no sense at all.

Seriously, just look at the sites where your links are and ask yourself, "were they able to easily insert a link all on their own or did the other site make a decision to link to you?" If you can place a link, yourself, on another website, it is a worthless link (the exception being a PBN that you, personally, own).

Also look at the quality of the website and the writing. Are articles well written? Does the other site have a general theme that is relevant to your website or is it a site about everything (meaning nothing)?

Does the site linking to you have real, human traffic? If so, are the majority of people who constantly go to that other site the type of people who will be fired up about your products and want to click on your link? If the answer is "no" to either of those things, it is probably a worthless link and maybe even one that will harm your rankings.

Bottom Line: Remember why Google uses backlinks in their algorithm. They are seen as "votes" by other websites for your website. The more important that other site is, the more powerful the vote is. Google's algorithm gets better every year at figuring out which ones are real "votes" and which ones are fake. Cheap SEO companies only know how to build the fake "votes".

    Hi Arif Mohammad,

Let's be clear about one thing in particular, you did not hire an SEO company. You hired link builders to place spammy backlinks in a clumsy attempt to manipulate search rankings.

Just because a company calls itself an "SEO company", or calls it's work "SEO" work doesn't make it so.

For many years there have been web spammers offering link building services that are falsely labeled as SEO. Link building, the way most link builders do it, is not "SEO", technically it's website promotion, or web spamming. I do realize that a lot of people have referred to it as "blackhat SEO" and I can accept that terminology, however in 2017 it no longer qualifies as "SEO", in my opinion, because it is the opposite of optimization.

To be clear, "link building" when done properly is indeed a good thing, especially when done for the best reasons, like generating relevant referrer traffic. Backlinks, done properly are an essential part of SEO... web spam, not so much. You'd do well to work with a "real" SEO company that understands the difference and avoids web spam.

    HTH,

    Don Burk

Your website is a multiniche and very generic site you dont need any seo services. You could have done the basic things yourself like fixing onpage issues.
Also can I ask how much did you actually spent on those services and what kind of actual links the built.

They built links, the SEOProfiler says about 79 links are spammy and risky. Can I ask what does generic site means ?

As Mill noted below Arif, generic sites are multi category sites, that cover many topics. Google generally frowns on such sites because unless you have thousands of skilled, capable writers working for these sites, how can one site be an authority/expert site in tens or hundreds of niches?

Unless it is The Huffington Post, ain't gonna happen

I lean toward not believing you. I don't know anyone spending that kind of money using fiverr and people dreaming fiverr will help generally hire pretty cheap (and equally worthless) Indian "SEO" as well.

You can use Google search console to check the penalty. And another option is you can you use SEMrush or ahrefs tool for deep analysis your website, it will show you all the backlinks like do follow and No-follow links with percentage.

    Hi Arif Here's the problem:

I placed several orders on fivver and attracta to create backlinks for my website:

Google hates this. Meaning, if I paid people on cheap sites to use cheap methods to get cheap backlinks, Google more than ever ensures these cheap backlinks procured through cheap sites, via cheap methods don't cheapen the billion dollar brand that is Google. Eventually, your site will disappear entirely, as it should, because links bought are almost always terrible.

Here's what I do; I practice writing thousands of words daily, to improve my writing skills. Then I guest post on respected sites from the blogging niche, my niche. Then I get awesome backlinks - it's like, Google says "hey, this guy has some value to share, on a respected AND related site" - and rank on Google for various keywords.

You earn backlinks, through diligent, persistently honing a skill, and by networking, and thru sharing value on related, authority sites.

You do not buy backlinks, and succeed. At least these days.

I'd start guest posting and sharing value on authority sites related to your niche, immediately. Build up sweet backlinks.

    I feel for you buddy.
I hired someone here on WF thinking they could do quality PBN link building, it did not take long to figure out all I was getting was junk links, very good for them, very bad for me...

    * always put out the best amazing content anyone has ever seen.
    * never buy links on fiver
    * never buy links from people with low reviews.
    * Be very skeptical before hiring SEO providers.

If you feel for a minute that you are getting a raw deal, then terminate your service; they will do everything they can to convice you to roll with them a few more months, its always a few more months, we are google/panda safe; trust me, they will tell you what you want to hear...

It is super tough to get a site off the groud these days...

    * junk content will not do it.
    * junk backlinks will not do it.
    * fiver backlinks will not do it.

If you have $3-5k, then you maybe able to get
your site off the ground if you hire all the right people....

I read a case study a few months back, and if I am not
mistaken, he said it had cost him $3k, and took one year....

What i would do right now? Goto fiverr and download the order they made for your backlinks, and make a disavow file and upload to webmaster tools.

Stop with fivver and any other cheap shitty backlinking methods your using, they will kill your website stone dead?

im living proof, i chucked backlinks at my well placed and got smashed into oblivion by a manual penalty in google, took 18 months to recover from, its no joke, if this site is your livlihood pack in the shortcuts and start taking your site a bit more seriously mate

Did you hire any SEO company? So why you blame them?
I know all the SEO companies are not good, some companies are really worthless. So you must find the perfect and reputed services that may expensive but provide the best service.
Backlink is important but not all the time. You should know that SEO work slowly. You need backlinks from high authority and relevant sites. If you can not do that your all efforts will go in vain.
    Thanks.

Search engine optimization is characteristically veiled in a shroud of imprecise speculations and anecdotal evidence. While there are some hard, objective factors that can help a site rank higher, the remainder of our collective knowledge on SEO is, at times, unhelpful due to the unpredictable nature of the digital world.

Google is constantly changing its standards for what makes a site "authoritative," and which ranking signals are most important, but there are some tenets that have been consistent, such as high quality content and reputable, natural backlinks. So what happens when one of these ranking signals, such as a backlink pointing to your site, disappears?
