Dealing with negative SEO / Spam/p*rn links

I have noticed some competitor or whoever is doing negative SEO in my niche, so far I have seen p*rn links to my competitors, but it could very well hit my domain as well, if it haven't already.

What's the best way of dealing with this, or detecting the spam links? It might take months for link tools (Majestic etc..) to find all the spam links, so I can disavow them in search console.

How do you go about finding all the spam links, or should I even worry about it, or have Google made changes to their algorithm to ignore these links?

If you really think that can happen best would be to give close look at your webmaster links and disavow those links also If I were you I would spend some time and money to get some good links.

Look into you webmasters tool see if there any unusual links linking to your site. If you found them then just disavow them. Its the simplest option.

  • You can see your backlinks in an online tool called SEOprofiler whichwill show you all of yours backlinks. If you find any susupecios links you can disvow them using google's disavow tool. It will also help in your ORM.

Any of the existing backlinks crawlers will take more than 15 days time to index those backlinks. It's not in our hands. So better keep the focus on link building rather than link disavowing.
