In search console all of sudden most of Links have disappeared at "Link To Your Site ", Please Help.

I have started link building activities last month, I had over 215 links in "Links to your site" till the 14th December, today morning when I checked they have gone down to 84, can anybody help as to why has this happened?

        These are outdated and won't work anyway. And article submission do work but you have to submit your article in paid directories.

        If you want links that can stick and get your ranked than try broken link building or build a cool PBN network by yourself and link back to your main site or even try guest blogging. These methods are good.

    Site owners delete pages. If your link is on a page that is deleted, your link goes away too.

    Google deindexes pages. If your link is on a page that is deindexed, your link goes away.

    Poor quality links go away all the time. Sometimes, good qualities links disappear too.

    Get more and better backlinks.

    Backlinks are not permanent, it decrease day by day if its low quality.
