In search console all of sudden most of Links have disappeared at "Link To Your Site ", Please Help.

I have started link building activities last month, I had over 215 links in "Links to your site" till the 14th December, today morning when I checked they have gone down to 84, can anybody help as to why has this happened?

    • back links that we build doing off page activities , like article submissions, bookmarking etc.

  • Connect with search console support
  • Site owners delete pages. If your link is on a page that is deleted, your link goes away too.

    Google deindexes pages. If your link is on a page that is deindexed, your link goes away.

    Poor quality links go away all the time. Sometimes, good qualities links disappear too.

    Get more and better backlinks.

  • Backlinks are not permanent, it decrease day by day if its low quality.
